Finnish National Board on Research Integrity TENK is an independent expert body of the Ministry of Education and Culture, which is appointed by the Ministry on a proposal from the scientific community. TENK was established by decree in 1991 to handle ethical issues related to scientific research and to promote research integrity.

Support for quality books is a purchase subsidy granted to municipal libraries annually by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The purchase subsidy covers all Finnish municipalities except those in Åland.
The subsidy aims to make high-quality literature of low circulation more readily available. It also helps public libraries increase and diversify their collections and expand their range of material to readers.
The Commitee for Public Information consists of a chairman and of 10 members, who are assigned by the Ministry of Education for a three-year period after hearing essential associations.

The Committee for Public Information (TJNK) awards public information grants to individuals or members of working groups (but not to associations or societies) to implement work plans that contribute to public information, mainly as a form of compensation for creative work.
TJNK is an expert body attached to the Ministry of Education and Culture. It follows progress in various fields of research, arts and technology and the development of knowledge in Finland and abroad. TJNK was established by government decree on 13 January 1972.
TJNK coordinates and promotes the publication of information.
The Ministry of Education and Culture in Finland grants annual state awards for information publication based on the proposal of the Committee for Public Information.
