The Secretariat of the National Coordination for Open Science and Research organises a number of events related to expert work in open science every year, including national awards.

The coordination organises annual summer conferences in cooperation with research organisations. The programme includes a plenary part and a day reserved for meetings of expert and working groups, as well as possibly separate workshops.

Aalto Research Data Management and Open Science spring 2026 trainings  

Aalto University offers free and open to all training in research data management (RDM) and open science again in spring 2026. The series includes topics such as Demystifying research software publishing, Introduction to research data management, Qualitative methods and research ethics review, and Personal data in research.
